We Can Learn from Others
After leaving P&G, Chris decided to fulfill one of his dreams and spent time traveling through many countries such as India, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Switzerland. During his travels, Chris had an opportunity to meet and learn important life skills from a diverse group of people including farmers, diving instructors, monks, elephant keepers, the homeless, trekking guides, and doctors. These individuals helped Chris learn an important life lesson – Everyone we meet, travel, and work with has the potential to help us improve our skills if we so choose.
International Work Experience
In search of an opportunity to gain more international work experience, Chris relocated to Geneva, Switzerland. He worked in the Corporate Training & Development department for a large multinational company. It was in this position that Chris had an opportunity to work and deliver training in regions including Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, and Africa. It was also an opportunity for him to continue his education working with diverse cultures and people.
As a result of his international training experience, his passion for people development, and interest for meeting and working with diverse people, Chris created INITIATE. Today, both he and his associates serve a range of clients in the food and beverage, medical devices, certification, and shipping industries. They also work with international organizations.
